Dark Star Lighting, Inc. respects our customers’ right to privacy.  For both privacy and security purposes, all transactional information will be held strictly confidential. Typical orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Normal business hours are Monday thru Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST (excluding holidays). We ship products anywhere in the United States using UPS. Shipping charges are based on the size and total weight of your order.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

*Please note: Oversized items/shipments will be sent using a freight company of our choice. However, if you provide us with an account number we will be more than happy to use your freight company – 10% handling charges will apply.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Return Policy

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dark Star Lighting, Inc. has a 15 day return policy. If you are unhappy with your purchase, return it to us within 15 days of the invoice date for a refund or exchange (less original shipping & handling charges). All returned items must be returned in new condition and in its original packaging (including all manuals, paperwork, cables, and/or other accessories).  If anything is missing, restock fees will apply.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For exchanges, Dark Star will allow you to replace or exchange the merchandise for an item of equal or comparable value. Some items are subject to a re-stocking fee. The re-stocking fee varies per item(s).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

*Items not in new condition, as deemed by us, will be subject to a 15% restocking fee, or manufacturers' prevailing restock fees if shipped from manufacturer; i.e., we don't store at our warehouse.

Dark Star Lighting, Inc. is unable to accept the return of the following items due to their inherent nature:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

·          Customized items

·          Bulk cable

·          Fog, bubble, haze or snow fluids

·          Replacement lamps that have been plugged in

·          Color/Gels

·          Expendable supplies

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Gear that has been rack mounted, bumped, scratched, dropped, or otherwise damaged due to misuse can not be returned. In essence, if it looks used and can not be resold, it can not be returned. Call and ask us for help if you are unsure if you can or can not return your item. We reserve the right to be the final authority in deciding what can or can not be returned.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Refused/Undeliverable Shipments

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Items returned to us, or a distribution point, as refused / undeliverable will be subject to freight charges along with a 15% restocking fee, or the prevailing restock fee of the shipper / manufacturer.  We will contact you after receiving refused shipment to determine reason.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Damaged Items

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For items that are defective, and within the factory warranty period, we will be happy to arrange for the return shipping charges via a "call tag" from a carrier of our choice. You must call 1-877-DRK-STAR to get authorization to return the item(s). If applicable, please have the serial number of the defective unit, along with description of damage(s).  Some drop-shipped items have a 48-hour window to report shipping damage.  Please adhere to this in order to expedite your replacement.
