Order Processing

How quickly does Dark Star Theatrical process orders?    
  Dark Star is open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. eastern time, Monday - Friday,   
  excluding certain holidays.  Small orders received before 1 p.m. EST 
  are generally processed the same day and shipped by 4 p.m. that day.
               
  However, please allow 2-3 business days for order processing,   
  especially for larger orders shipped via freight.    
               
  Business days have a 1 p.m. eastern time cutoff.    
               
  For example, orders placed with Dark Star Theatrical after 1 p.m. on
  Monday will not be processed or shipped at earliest until Tuesday.
  Orders placed with Dark Star Theatrical after 1 p.m. on Friday will  
  not be processed or shipped at earliest until Monday.

  Small items:  2-3 business days        
  Large items:  3-5 business days        
  Freight items:  Varies.  About 2-10 business days    
  Custom items:  Varies.  Will be estimated upon request

without notice.  Orders placed with expedited shipping will be prioritized.    
Dark Star Theatrical is not responsible for processing delays due to manufacturer
holiday closings or manufacturer product assembly times or back-orders.

  Ground:  1-5 business days.  Ask for estimated transit time.  
  3-Day Select:  3 business days.  Delivery by end of day.  
  2nd Day Air:  2 business days.  Delivery typically by end of day.  
  Next Day Air:  Next business day.  Delivery typically by 10:30 a.m.
  Next Day Air Early A.M.:  Next business day.  Delivery as early as 8 a.m.

  Dark Star uses UPS as their carrier of choice.  However, manufacturers
  drop-shipments may travel via FedEx of other carrier.  Freight shipment
  carriers will vary.

Orders in transit            
Once orders are shipped, time in transit until they are delivered depends on the shipping
method selected.  Dark Star offers several shipping methods to match your needs.
               
Once your order has shipped, you should receive an email with tracking information.  If
you do not receive tracking information in a timely manner to your satisfaction, please
contact us to specifically request it.        
               
If you receive tracking information in the evening or on a weekend day, your order may 
not be postmarked until the next business day.
